Natural Burials

Natural funerals are growing in popularity as more people look for environmentally friendly ways to arrange a farewell.
 
This can range from planning a whole natural burial or considering certain aspects of a green funeral to incorporate into a traditional funeral, such as the choice of coffin or having a natural burial.
 
The goal of a natural burial is to return the body to the earth in the most efficient natural process. Natural burials are intended as an environmentally sustainable alternative to existing funeral practices such as cremation which is very carbon intensive.
